Northampton agree deal for Dan Biggar

Even though the current season is still in it’s early stages, Northampton haven’t wasted time in adding to their squad for the next campaign.

As Sky Sports report, Northampton have agreed a deal with Ospreys which sees Wales and Lions fly-half Dan Biggar join the club next summer, the team have announced. Check out these Ladbrokes betting offers ahead of the weekend’s action.

Capped 56 times by Wales, Biggar traveled on the British and Irish Lions tour in the summer, featuring in five of their 10 games and has clearly caught the eye of the decision makers at Northampton.

“I’m hugely privileged to sign for a club with the history and tradition of Saints,” he says.

“It’s extremely exciting to start a new chapter of my career with a club that shares my ambition to win trophies, which is where this club belongs.

“This is an opportunity for me and my family to experience rugby in a different environment and playing in a town and surrounding area which has a massive passion for rugby was a huge attraction.”
