Owen Farrell declared fit for Saracens’ quarter-final

England and Saracens fly-half Owen Farrell has recovered from an injury scare to start for Saracens in their Champions Cup quarter-final against Leinster this weekend, BBC report.

Farrell’s England team mates, Mako Vunipola and George Kruis have also been included in the starting line-up.

The 26-year-old had been struggling with a quad problem during the week but has been announced fit to play in Dublin on Sunday for the highly anticipated quarter-final.

It is set to be a star-studded fixture as Leinster have recalled a number of Ireland internationals after the Six Nations winners missed the sides last game against Ospreys.

Leinster, who have six wins from six in this year’s Champions Cup, have recalled Rob Kearney, Garry Ringrose, Johnny Sexton, Cian Healy and Tadhg Furlong, who all took part in Ireland’s historic Grand Slam triumph.

Dan Leavy is also set to make his 50th appearance for Leinster at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday at openside flanker.
